Blackjack is a game that somehow reminds me of a rollercoaster. It is a game that begins slowly, but gradually picks up the pace. As you ramp up your bank roll, you feel like you are getting up to the top of the coaster and then when you least expect it, the bottom drops.
black jack is so akin to a rollercoaster the similarities are awe-inspiring. As is the case with the popular fair experience, your blackjack game will peak and things will appear to be going great for a while before it bottoms out one more time. Of course you have to be a gambler who can adjust well to the ups … downs of the game because the game of black jack is packed full of them.
If you like the little coaster, one that will not go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the ride is with a fatter bet, then jump aboard for the crazy ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high-stakes gambler will love the view from the monster rollercoaster because they are not thinking about the drop as they rush hastily to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in black jack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that’s an awesome feeling, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster begins to toss and turn, you had better escape in a hurry.
If you don’t, you may not necessarily remember how much you enjoyed everything while your cash was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a great ride … your head in the sky. As you are remembering "what ifs", you won’t always remember how "high up" you went but you will be reminded of that mortifying drop as clear as day.
