I have bet on millions of hands of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have bet on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of bankroll at twenty-one. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the casino.

I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this method or defeat the house, still you will have a lot of fun. This method is centered on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a match of streaks. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy twenty-one. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the bet back down to the original value.

I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets extremely exciting sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a number of years back with $750 after 20 minutes using this technique! And a number of days ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You have to understand that you can give up a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the streaks you notice betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.

Wager five dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the initial 5 dollar wager

Wager $5
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $10

Bet $10
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the first ten dollar bet

Bet $10
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar

Bet twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager

Wager 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Wager 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $40 bet

Bet forty dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total bet of $80

Wager $80
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the first $80 bet

Bet eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160

Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 1 hundred and sixty dollar wager

If you departed at this instance you would be up $315 !!

It’s hard to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
