I have enjoyed countless of hands of vingt-et-un. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have played online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost a lot of bankroll at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the game.

I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get loaded with this method or defeat the house, still you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that blackjack seems to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!

I play basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the action back down to the original bet.

I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets extremely enjoyable sometimes. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a couple of years ago with $750 after 20 minutes using this technique! And a few months ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You need to understand that you can relinquish a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the runs you witness wagering this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.

Wager $5
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the original five dollar wager

Bet 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of $10

Bet 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar wager

Wager $10
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $20

Wager $20
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the first 20 dollar bet

Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $40

Wager 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first forty dollar wager

Bet $40
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80

Wager $80
Take $80 paid to you, leave the original eighty dollar bet

Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160

Bet 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 160 dollar bet

If you left at this instance you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!

It is hard to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
