Blackjack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a roller coaster. Blackjack is a game that kicks off slowly, but gradually gets faster. As you ramp up your bank roll, you feel as though you are on your way to the top of the coaster and then when you don’t expect it, the bottom drops.

Blackjack is so similar to a rollercoaster the similarities are eerie. As with the popular amusement ride, your blackjack game will peak and things will seem as though they are going great for a time before it bottoms out again. You have to be a bettor who’s able to adjust well to the ups … downs of the game simply because the game of blackjack is choked full with them.

If you like the tiny coaster, a coaster that won’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the rollercoaster ride is with a much bigger wager, then hop on board for the mad ride of your life on the monster coaster. The deep pocket gambler will love the view from the monster rollercoaster because he or she is not considering the drop as they rush quickly to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that is an amazing feeling, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster begins to toss and turn, you had better get out in a hurry.

If you don’t, you may not easily recount how much you enjoyed the view while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, an amazing ride … your head in the clouds. As you are reminiscing on "what ifs", you won’t recall how "high up" you went but you will be reminded of that mortifying fall as clear as day.
