I have wagered on millions of hands of blackjack. I started working my way into the casinos when I was 16. I have bet on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost a lot of bankroll at twenty-one. The casinos have made it very hard to beat the game.

I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have played a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this method or defeat the house, nonetheless you will experience an abundance of fun. This tactic is founded on the idea that blackjack seems to be a game of runs. When you’re hot your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I wager with basic strategy 21. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the bet back down to the original bet.

I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets extremely thrilling sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Luxor a few years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this tactic! And a few days ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!

You need to comprehend that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the runs you witness playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 game.

Wager five dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first $5 wager

Bet five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $10

Bet 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original ten dollar bet

Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of $20

Bet 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the initial twenty dollar bet

Bet twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of $40

Wager $40
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar bet

Wager forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $80

Wager eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial eighty dollar bet

Wager 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Bet 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $160 bet

If you left at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
