I have played millions of rounds of blackjack. I began working my way into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have bet on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of money at 21. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the house.

I still like the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over the years I have gambled on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this method or beat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I play basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the wager back down to the original amount.

I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets very fun on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a number of years ago with $750 after 60 mins using this method! And a few weeks ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be aghast at the runs you notice betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a $5 game.

Bet five dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the first $5 bet

Wager $5
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of $10

Wager 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the first $10 wager

Wager $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of $20

Wager 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager

Wager twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of $40

Wager 40 dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager

Wager $40
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80

Wager $80
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $80 wager

Bet 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar

Bet $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $160 wager

If you departed at this moment you would be up 3 hundred and 15 dollars !!

It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and lower your bet or the end result will not be the same.
